Antelope Valley Childcare and Preschool
We are a family who share the passion for helping others and care for the future of children. Our services are offered through two family day-cares in the Antelope Valley area since 2001.
We started providing educational and care services in the year 1989. On that first experience we open a large family day care on the Silver Lake area, Los Angeles. The name of this facility was Crystal Land Day Care.
The site was very successful because we provided more than Day Care. A full, structured bilingual curriculum was provided for the benefit of the children. In various occasions KCET television channel visited us and broadcasted our educational program in Los Angeles County.
We are proud to say that were part of the provider's outreach of CCRC. During the program, we participated in ad hoc basis receiving no remuneration in exchange.
We visited potent ional family day care facilities throughout Los Angeles County to provided the appropriate support to open and operate facility.
In 1993 we opened an early childhood learning center in Costa Rica, Central America.
The services provided were daycare, preschool, and kindergarten. The name of the center was Little Lamb Learning Center.
It was a non-profit organization that provided quality care and education to children of low-income families.
Today we operate AV Childcare and Preschool in two different home-based locations, under our Christian convictions, we do not discriminate in the enrollment of children or selection of staff on the basis of race, color, creed, age, religion, sex, national origin, handicapped and veteran status.
During Mrs. Mary's twenty years of experience as a Preschool Teacher and child care provider, she has always strived to provide a safe, comfortable, stimulating, fun, and educational environment.
All daily activities have been carefully planned to ensure a balance between fun and learning activities.
Through a mixture of guided and undirected creative play, the children have the opportunity to learn about the colors, shapes, textures, numbers, letters, animals, seasons, feelings, senses, nutrition, personal hygiene, manners, basic science and math concepts.

Preschool is offered in two sessions. The AM session starts at 8:00 AM and ends at 11:30 AM. The PM session starts at 11:30 AM and end at 3:00 PM. The program is offered Monday through Thursday (except December, Monday through Friday).
The cost of the program for the 2007-2008 school year is only $200. There is the option to request a parent investment fee waiver, which is determined by income level.
Our Child Care services are available Monday thru Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Feel free to discuss with me if you have any specific care needs outside my pre-established scheduled.
